Dermatology is a branch of Veterinary science that quite often frustrates both the Vet and the client alike. The diseases associated with this system are varied both in aetiology and symptoms. To further aggravate the problem the skin shows signs of disease only after a substantial damage has been done and therefore healing takes an equally long time. Most of the dermatological problems are compounded by secondary infections that make the problem acquire more serious dimensions.
